Passing of Rick Rogers
On July 21st we lost one of the province’s most loved umpires Rick Rogers, he was 61. Rick was umpiring at the PWSA Intermediate Grand Championship when passed unexpectedly. Rick was a father, husband and to so many of us in the softball community a good friend.
PWSA, Softball Ontario Umpires, Kitchener Minor Girls Softball and numerous other softball groups have joined together to organize a fund to support the family of Rick Rogers. We will facilitate donations through e-transfer. Thank you to all of you that have reached out and offered ideas on how we can best support the family.
