Insurance Summary     Please note:  The injured party has thirty (30) days from the date of the accident to initiate a claim with P.W.S.A.  and be received by the insurance company.  If an insurance claim is required, please contact Cathy Bilinski – 905-579-3002 – direct.


2024-25 Accident Report Form 


Association requiring additional 3rd party insurance for indoor/outdoor practice facilities or other events, must complete the 2024/25 3rd Party Insurance form.   Please follow instructions on form.

Note:  Your team insurance certificate covers your team for accidents while on the diamonds only while playing in Canada – if you require travel accident insurance outside of Canada –  you can use an insurance company of your own choice or contact info@pwsaontario.com for more details.


We continue to support through the P.W.S.A. insurance program:

  1. Affiliated Female teams
  2. Unaffiliated female teams that play house league, recreational, or competitive fastpitch/softball
  3. Coed teams that play softball (i.e. fastpitch/softball or 3 pitch)

 We must advise you that under the terms of our Letter of Agreement between Softball Ontario and its Member Associations that we will be unable to provide insurance to: 

  1. Male only teams playing fastpitch/softball, and
  2. Male or Female or Coed Slo-pitch teams

We encourage those Slo-pitch teams (males, females, coed) to consider the insurance program provided by Slo-pitch Ontario Insurance | Slopitch.org and all male softball teams to consider the OASA Insurance Insurance – OASA program.
